Holstein Park
Chicago Park District awarded AltusWorks the Holstein Park Renovation project, repairing and upgrading the 1912 Prairie Style brick field house. The multi-use public building includes two gymnasiums, shower and locker rooms, offices, a kitchen and a domed auditorium. The project includes improving the physical connection to the outdoor pool and nearby Senior Citizen’s Park. AltusWorks has provided a full facility assessment, a limited site assessment, a prioritized opinion of probable costs and a scope of work to meet the $1.2M renovation budget. AltusWorks will produce construction documents and administer the construction phase. The firm was selected because of its extensive experience with facility assessments, historic buildings and integration of LEED philosophies. |
