ADA Improvements
AltusWorks, as Architect of Record, is assisting Chicago Public Schools in the accessibility improvements of three CPS elementary and middle schools built between 1900 and1920. After confirming the preliminary scope of work, reviewing existing drawings, and visiting the schools, AltusWorks collaborates with the program manager, Chicago School Associates, to finalize each school’s specific needs. AltusWorks will prepare construction drawings detailing the accessibility improvements, aid in the solicitation of competitive bids and administrate the construction phase of each project.
