Recognized for sensitive integration of sustainable energy at the Evanston History Center
AltusWorks is committed to the practical and innovative preservation of places and making historic buildings more efficient. Recently, Scott Utter, Preservation Architect, attended the Design Evanston Award night where the Evanston History Center received a Rehabilitation Award for the integration of a ground source heating and cooling system into the 1897 historic mansion.
AltusWorks is honored to have led the project team; with the collaboration of the History Centers’ staff, Eden Juron Pearlman and Kris Hartzell; and the support of Mark Nussbaum of ACE, and Phil Robertson of Bulley & Andrews who all contributed to the project success. Read full entry »
