CTA Harrison Red Line Station Reopened July 28, 2014

As the architect for the CTA Harrison Station design-build renovation project led by Kiewit Construction, AltusWorks is excited to share the eye-catching entrance canopies at the Harrison Street entrance. In an effort to create a fresh face for the CTA, the design is bold yet sleek and is anticipated to become CTA’s new design standard. In addition to the steel and glass canopies, station updates geared to improving the riders’ experience include an interior make-over with new finishes, fare control system, lighting, way-finding signage, and an innovative electrical conversion system to power the emergency systems.
