AltusWorks supports local business district

The Portage Park neighborhood on Chicago’s northwest side is where AltusWorks calls home. We’re just up the street from Six Corners — the intersection of Irving Park Road, Cicero Avenue and Milwaukee Avenue.

Ellen Stoner, AltusWorks’ Principal, was approached by the Six Corners Association Bike Committee to help fund on-street bike-parking corrals. We’re pleased to announce that $10,000 was raised from the community and other local business owners. Four corrals will be installed in 2015.

Six Corners has welcomed more than 20 businesses in 2014, with more on board for the coming months. AltusWorks is proud to have helped improve conditions for pedestrians and cyclists around our thriving business district.
